We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated Site Quality Manager to join our growing team in Jackson, MS. This position will involve working outside in extreme weather conditions, exposure to loud noises and abnormal odors, confined space work, and working in areas with overhead activities.

Responsibilities

  • Weld Map Isometric drawings using computer software programs.
  • Enter welding and inspection information into the tracking tool.
  • Assist with pressure testing plans and functions.
  • Review and File NDE/NDT Reports
  • Work with NDE personnel for planning and execution of work
  • Assemble and review project documentation packages.
  • Perform and document inspections based on drawings, specifications, and procedures to determine compliance.
  • Test welders and perform weld inspections under varies codes.
  • Review client requirements and ensure specifications are met.
  • Follow Project Quality Assurance Plans.
  • Follow inspection and test plans (I&TP’s)
  • Committed to Mullins core values and safety policies.
  • Plan and execute Root Cause Analysis’ and Corrective Action Reports

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience as a Quality Manager
  • Extensive knowledge of codes and standards (ASME, AWS, ACI, AISC, NACE)
  • Experience with the verification of mechanical equipment alignment
  • Have a current AWS CWI and/or ASNT VT II and/ or API 510/570
  • Extensive knowledge of NDT methods (UT, MT, PT, RT)
  • Understanding of ASTM standards and materials
  • Efficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and/ or Project management software (Procore)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.
  • Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of organizational skills
  • Extensive knowledge of reading and understanding drawings
  • Self-motivated with the drive to learn and grow.
