About the Opportunity

Whether you're experienced in concrete testing or looking to start your career in construction materials, we provide the training and support you need to succeed. As a Quality Control Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring our concrete meets the highest industry standards for commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects.
Your Mission & Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished ready mix concrete using industry-standard methods.
  • Interpret test results and compare them to established specifications and control limits.
  • Conduct visual inspections of concrete products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with production and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.
  • Deliver quality control training to production staff as directed by management or technical services.
  • Maintain accurate records of tests, analyses, and quality-related activities.
  • Stay current on industry trends, technologies, and regulations to help improve our quality control processes.

What Sets You Apart
  • Willingness to work variable shifts based on scheduled pours, including day and overnight shifts.
  • Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply-we provide on-the-job training for those new to quality control or the concrete industry.
  • ACI certification, or willingness to obtain it, is a plus.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Concrete Management, Construction Management, or related field is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in quality control, quality assurance, or construction materials is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office); experience with quality management software is a plus.
