Quality Manager - People & Process Leader with 5+ Years of Quality Experience and a BS in Engineering or Science

The Quality Manager will oversee endtoend manufacturing and fabrication of water filtration equipment, including laser and saw cutting, welding, painting, and final assembly. This role partners closely with the Sr. Quality Manager and the Thomasville Operations Director, working crossfunctionally to drive quality excellence and support key business objectives.

This is a fully onsite role located at the Thomasville, GA campus. Standard working hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Quality Manager is responsible for supporting all quality needs across the Thomasville operations.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and develop a team of five direct reports using the MDI (Manage for Daily Improvement) process
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and daily support

Quality Data & Reporting:

  • Collect, analyze, and report on Customer DPD (Defects per Delivery), Supplier PPM (Parts per Million), COPQ (Cost of Poor Quality), and NCRs (NonConformance Reports)

Root Cause & Problem Solving:

  • Champion the 8Step problemsolving methodology
  • Lead and support RCCA activities

Customer Focus:

  • Understand customer requirements and integrate feedback into quality processes

NonConformance Management:

  • Oversee the NCR process and ensure timely resolution

Supplier Quality:

  • Monitor supplier performance and lead supplierrelated root cause investigations

Engineering Collaboration:

  • Partner with Engineering to track and resolve drawing improvements (ECMs)

Quality Systems & Documentation:

  • Develop and implement quality procedures and standards
  • Maintain quality records, reports, and documentation
  • Implement relevant quality checks and processes (e.g., PPAP)

ISO 9001 Leadership:

  • Lead the Thomasville site through ISO 9001 certification

Customer Returns:

  • Manage Quality RMAs and drive corrective actions

Continuous Improvement:

  • Lead initiatives to improve quality performance and operational effectiveness

Culture & Leadership:

  • Model behaviors aligned with being inspired to innovate, empowered to lead, and accountable to deliver

  • Certifications such as CQA, CQE, or Six Sigma Green Belt are a plus
