Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and technically skilled Quality Control Technician to support laboratory operations and ensure product quality in accordance with the company Quality Control Manual and ISO 9001 standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in laboratory testing, data analysis, and quality systems, along with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control Operations

  • Follow and adhere to work instructions, procedures, and calibration requirements outlined in the company Quality Control Manual
  • Perform laboratory testing and ensure all results are properly documented and filed
  • Enter all QC test data and Certificates of Analysis (CoAs) into the system (JDE)
  • Ensure QC samples are obtained per Quality Requirements Testing Level (Work Instruction 9.1.36) and maintain proper sample storage systems
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
  • Maintain accurate and timely entry of test results in QC tracking systems, including cross-checking records
  • Compare all Certificates of Analysis against Master CoAs to determine product acceptance or rejection

Laboratory & Equipment Management

  • Ensure all QC instruments meet calibration and verification requirements
  • Order and maintain adequate lab supplies and ensure QC databases are updated daily
  • Maintain full compliance with ISO 9001 traceability requirements, including CoAs, MSDS, and calibration documentation
  • Complete and distribute all QC forms per established work instructions
  • Provide daily reports summarizing QC testing activities and results

Production & Quality Support

  • Collaborate with production personnel to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow of quality products
  • Support root cause analysis investigations for nonconforming products
  • Test and report on all field test complaints from technical services
  • Identify and recommend improvements to QC processes, lab workflows, and testing methods
  • Assist with batch adjustments to meet production quality expectations

Data Collection & Analysis (20%)

  • Analyze QC data and provide insights to support production and quality improvements
  • Communicate findings and recommend solutions to leadership in a timely manner
  • Provide data to QC leadership for monthly KPI reporting
  • Utilize strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) to manage and present data
