Quality Control Manager

We are looking for a Quality Control Manager to join our Lombard, IL team!

This is an opportunity to join a metal surface treatment technology facility with an established industrial company that is the world leader in this field.

As the Manager, Quality Control, you will have the opportunity to be crossed trained on various aspects of liquid coatings.

Location: Lombard, IL

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000

Your Challenge

  • Oversee all quality and EHS related functions (review, approve, and control) and supervise Quality staff, within a NADCAP QMS environment.

  • Complete monthly internal audits.

  • Develop/Approve Process and Inspection plans compliant with customer and industry specific requirements.

  • Review and evaluate contractual requirements in specifications and drawings.

  • Ensure quality and regulatory compliance in accordance with documented procedures for all aspects of functional responsibility.

  • Host all customer and regulatory audits and ensure continued certification to AS9100 and NADCAP Chemical Processing.

  • Review, evaluate, and answer customer correspondence.

  • Maintain training requirements and records for site.

  • Perform Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action for discrepant product.

  • Identify potential project quality issues.

  • Collaborate with the management team to drive the business needs and align with corporate goals and objectives.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • AS9100, NADCAP, experience is required (internal and external audits)

  • Must be able to manage and develop the QMS system

  • Must be able to effectively manage a team of 3 + delegate and collaborate with the management team

  • Must be a US Citizen

Preferred

  • 3-5years of chemical processing experience

  • Experience with Nadcap accreditation process and auditing

  • Background in metal finishing or coating manufacturing environment
