Job description

EHC is looking for aQC/QA Lab Technician for a Client in the Houston Area

Status:Full-Time

Start Date:08/17/2026

Work Schedule:7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (On-Site)

Schedule Details:

This position follows a rotating bi-weekly schedule consisting of a five-day workweek one week and a four-day workweek the following week.

  • Hands-on laboratory experience within a manufacturing environment required

Position Overview

The QC/QA Lab Technician is responsible for supporting quality assurance and quality control processes through the testing and inspection of raw materials, finished products, and production operations. This role is essential to maintaining product quality standards and supporting laboratory and manufacturing activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform testing of incoming raw materials according to established standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Conduct testing of finished products in accordance with SOPs
  • Inspect incoming finished goods produced by third-party manufacturers
  • Monitor and inspect production lines to ensure quality standards are maintained
  • Maintain quality control records and retention samples
  • Assist with product complaint investigations
  • Support special quality-related projects as assigned
  • Assist Research & Development teams with project testing and evaluation
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory work area to ensure a safe working environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Required Skills

Work Environment

Office and Laboratory Environment

Employees will regularly work in an office and laboratory setting and may occasionally be exposed to warehouse conditions requiring appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Duties may involve reading, analyzing information, following written and verbal instructions, and communicating effectively with team members.

The work environment typically includes:
