Job description

FULL TIME Night Shift:
(Thursday- Saturday, alternating Wednesdays)- 6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.
Training will be on our B1 Day Shift
(Thursday-Saturday alternating Wednesday)- 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Primary Responsibilities:
โ€ข Ensure that all product meets or exceeds customer specifications.
โ€ข Ensure allocation is followed, validate correct product is pulled and shipped to customer.
โ€ข Assist Quality Control Inspection Supervisor to ensure that all product inspections are being performed,
labeling specification are adhered to, and non-conformance product is pulled and corrected.
โ€ข Flex Between the shipping dock, receiving dock and production to assist Quality Control Inspection
Supervisor with Quality issues and/or inspections.
โ€ข Report any exceptions to the customer specifications to Quality Control Inspection Supervisor.
โ€ข Send out Quality Issues Emails for Non-Compliant Product.
โ€ข Oversee floor operations when the Quality Control Inspection Supervisor is unavailable.
โ€ข Remember recent rejections and rejection trends.
โ€ข Ensure Product packaging is in presentable condition for our customers.
โ€ข Ensure Presentation is of highest standards.
โ€ข Performs any other Quality Control related tasks or special projects as assigned.
โ€ข Provide training when required.
Education/Background Requirements:
โ€ข 1 Year College degree or 6 Months year of experience in a related field required.
โ€ข Previous experience in produce industry preferred.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
โ€ข Must pass Background Check and pre-employment Skills Testing.
โ€ข Must sign a confidentiality agreement upon hire.
โ€ข Must be a self-starter and willing to work flexible hours.
โ€ข Proficiency in use of English language with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
โ€ข Proficient in computer-use skills (MS Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
โ€ข Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills. Need to be creative, adaptable and able to
accurately work with a sense of urgency.
โ€ข Spanish as a second language would be an asset.
โ€ข Inspection/audit experiences, working in software applications are considered assets.
โ€ข Proficient in basic computer skills, JDA or NAV experience preferred.
โ€ข Ability to use and read measuring devices such as scales, calipers, ruler.
โ€ข Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
โ€ข Environment includes an expansive refrigerated warehouse, where the temperatures range is 45-55
degrees (except office areas). The background noise approaches 70 dcbs.
โ€ข Must be capable of lifting up to 35 lbs.
