Rogers Group is currently seeking aQuality ControlsupportingCarolina SMA, Greer, SC Upstate, SC.This position reports to the Quality Control Manager. The successful candidate will have strong work ethic, intuitive problem- solving skills and drive to meet the organization's needs.

Job Details:

  • Wages start at $21.00, Starting wage will be higher with verifiable experience.

  • Fulltime/Permanent

  • Weekend work may be required and overtime 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lift 50lbs frequently

  • Basic Repair of testing equipment

  • Compute stockpile quantities

  • Perform Field Test

  • Promote team atmosphere at location and across the division

  • Work with the sales team as needed

  • May be called upon at the discretion of Managers to perform other duties 
     

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required

  • Driver's License with Clean MVR Required

  • Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

  • Skilled in operating quality control lab equipment and testing materials.

  • Proficiency with MS Office applications or similar.

  • Ability to problem-solve and demonstrate critical thinking.

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds continuously throughout the day.

  • Basic mechanical/repair skills.

  • Basic math and computing/technology skills.

  • Flexible schedule (split/ possible Saturday shifts).

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; be able to work on a team.

  • Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision.

  • Operate testing equipment and company vehicles in a responsible and safe manner.

  • Perform daily housekeeping operations and maintain a clean lab environment.
