Job description

Salary:

The LabAidewillbe responsible forsupporting the lab technicians by performing various tasksunder the supervision of the Lab Managerand Pharmacists.All tasks and duties must be completed inaccordance and compliancewith HIPAA guidelines, State and Federal laws, and current company policies and procedures.

Reporting Structure

This position reports to the Lab Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere toall safety procedures,USPguidelines, andcompanyStandard Operating Procedures
  • Restock compounding labs daily andassistlab team when supplies run low throughout the day
  • Support preparation and processing of supplies for steam sterilization and glassware fordepyrogenation
  • Responsible for preparing and organizing sterile batch kits for the sterile lab team andassistingwith solution preparationas needed
  • Support lab team with variousdaily, weekly, and monthlycleaning tasksassigned and documented through the Quality Management System
  • Attenddepartmental meetings as well asparticipatein relevant education & training provided by the company
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diplomarequired
  • Ability to stand forlong periodsof time
  • Capable of lifting and pulling up to 30lbs
  • Capable of working with small delicate analytical equipment
  • Skill/experience in the Microsoft Office: Word and Excel
