Job description

Are you a quality leader who thrives at the intersection of systems, people, and manufacturing excellence? As a Quality Manager at Printpack, you'll serve on the Plant Leadership Team and own the quality function at the facility level -from lab operations and customer relationships to ISO management systems and continuous improvement. This is a high-impact leadership role in our Grand Prairie, TX plant where your expertise directly protects our customers, empowers our associates, and drives operational performance.What You'll Do
  • Lead and continuously improve ISO 9001 & ISO 22000 Quality Management Systems
  • Oversee QC Lab operations, calibration programs, and test method development
  • Drive customer complaint resolution, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions
  • Manage supplier quality issues and incoming material performance
  • Champion continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives across the plant
  • Support new product commercialization by establishing quality standards from development through launch
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing quality team
  • Serve as the plant's primary quality contact for customers, auditors, and suppliers

What You Bring
  • Quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated experience with ISO 9001 system administration
  • Experience with Food Safety systems (ISO 22000, SQF, or equivalent)
  • Working knowledge of statistical quality control and lean manufacturing principles

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Standard Monday-Friday schedule with flexibility for plant operations, audits, and customer needs
  • Ability to stand, walk, and navigate manufacturing areas; lift up to 50 lbs occasionally; PPE required in designated areas (hearing protection, safety glasses, steel-toe shoes)
  • Travel: Up to 25% (customer visits, supplier visits, audits, cross-site activities)
