QC Level 1 – Metal Case Fabrication Warehouse


1st Shift • 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Pay: $17–$21/hr


Position Overview
We are hiring a QC Level 1 inspector to support quality assurance in a fast‐paced metal case fabrication warehouse. This role is essential to ensuring every fabricated case, component, and assembly meets strict dimensional, structural, and cosmetic standards before moving to the next stage of production or shipment.


Core Responsibilities

  • Incoming Material Checks — Inspect raw metal sheets, hardware, and components for defects, warping, or inconsistencies
  • In‐Process Inspections — Perform quality checks throughout fabrication stages (cutting, bending, welding, assembly)
  • Final Case Verification — Confirm dimensions, alignment, weld quality, fastener torque, and cosmetic finish
  • Measurement Accuracy — Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, squares, and tape measures to verify tolerances
  • Non‐Conformance Reporting — Document defects, tag rejected items, and communicate issues to leads/supervisors
  • Production Collaboration — Work closely with welders, machine operators, and assemblers to resolve quality issues
  • Recordkeeping — Complete inspection logs, digital forms, and daily QC reports
  • Safety & Compliance — Follow PPE requirements, fabrication safety rules, and warehouse protocols


Required Skills & Experience

  • Prior experience in quality control, metal fabrication, manufacturing, or warehouse operations
  • Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, fabrication drawings, and measurement specs
  • Comfortable using hand tools, inspection tools, and metal fabrication equipment
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects quickly
  • Ability to stand, bend, and lift 25–50 lbs throughout the shift
