Over the course of our 10-12-week summer internship experience you will have the opportunity to:

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Support quality engineers in daily activities related to production, product quality, and process improvement.
  • Assist with quality inspections, data collection, and measurement analysis to ensure product conformance.
  • Participate in root cause investigations and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities.
  • Help maintain and improve quality documentation, including inspection procedures, control plans, and work instructions.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify and implement opportunities for process improvements.
  • Conduct statistical analysis of quality metrics and assist in reporting trends.
  • Support internal audits and preparation for customer or regulatory audits.
  • Learn and utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to solve problems and optimize processes.
  • Work on special projects assigned by quality leadership, with an emphasis on learning and practical application.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Quality, or related field).
  • Strong interest in manufacturing, process improvement, and quality assurance.
  • Basic understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with statistical tools a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS NEEEDED
  • Must be able to navigate entire facility and be on their feet for at least 1-hour intervals
  • Visual acuity for detailed work
