We are seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to lead and develop our Quality Control team and ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with leadership skills to drive process improvements, maintain compliance, and support the growth of our manufacturing excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and mentor the Quality Control team, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Leverage authority in hiring, termination and disciplinary decisions.
  • Manage labor, adjust resource allocation for efficiency, identify cost-saving opportunities and propose budget modifications to support operational needs.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the department.
  • Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures to increase efficiencies and ensure compliance with company Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Perform and support Fulcrum internal audit activities to ensure compliance with QMS and ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Oversee and coordinate the processes of a Material Review Board (MRB), which involves reviewing and deciding on the disposition of nonconforming materials
  • Maintaining detailed records of each nonconforming item, including the reason for nonconformance, disposition decision, corrective actions taken
  • Analyze non-conformities and lead initiatives to address root causes and prevent recurrence.
  • Drive quality improvement projects and collaborate with the Production and Engineering & Design teams to enhance manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure all controlled documents, including quality inspection reports and ISO-related records, are up to date and properly managed.
  • Adhere to and enforce company safety protocols and participate in required training programs.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years in Quality Control, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 standard and certification processes.
  • Proficiency in laser tracker systems.
  • Proficiency in working with Coordinate Measuring Machines and software (CAM2, Verisurf)
  • Strong understanding of reading and interpreting CAD drawings.
  • Proficiency in using measurement tools (calipers, tapes, scales) and interpreting metric and imperial measurements.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
