Job description

Overview:

BBF Technologies is a leading semiconductor equipment and industrial process equipment manufacturer located in Wilsonville, OR.

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet the established quality standards. You will work collaboratively with various departments to identify and resolve quality issues, conduct inspections and tests, and implement corrective actions. The ideal candidate possesses excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of quality control principles. Must be able to work with a team of Quality Control techs.


Responsibilities:

  • Quality checks all parts to match drawings before shipment to the customer
  • Measure parts and cross-reference to the prints to insure they are within tolerances
  • Account for all the parts needed to complete the job
  • Labeling products with part numbers and serial numbers and document
  • Leak test products that are required to be leak proof and fill out proper documentation of results
  • Load and unload products and materials, making sure that all paperwork is filled out and distributed to the correct parties
  • Package parts in a secure manner so able to be shipped without damage
  • Ensure that all safety protocols are being followed


Qualifications/Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 to 3 years of assembly, manufacturing and/or fabrication experience desired
  • Ability to use all power tools in a safe manner (chop saw, table saw, joiner, routers, drills, heat guns)
  • Understanding of all forms of measuring (tape measure, calipers, and rulers)
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Ability to operate forklifts and move pallet jacks of up to 150lbs
  • Have attention to details and able to use basic math skills
  • Ability to work well with others and able to problem solve

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, bending, squatting, walking, and lifting, up to 10 hours per day

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
