Job description

Erosion and Sediment Control/Stormwater Management Inspector
Brudis & Associates, Inc. (BAI) is seeking a full time Erosion and Sediment Control/Stormwater Management Inspector to work in Frederick County, MD.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform pre-construction activities including review of site, attend pre-construction conferences, check construction stakeout, reviews contractor construction schedule
  • Monitor Erosion and Sediment Control and Stormwater Management operations to ensure compliance with plans, contract terms, specifications, codes and ordinances
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project records including daily reports, diaries, materials notebooks, as-built plans, pay quantity records and monthly estimates

Required Experience/Skills:
  • Minimum of three (3) years' experience with Erosion & Sediment Control construction/inspection
  • Possession of the MDE Responsible Personnel Certification is required
  • Possession of SHA Yellow Card is required
  • Experience working as a Code Enforcement Inspector a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret project plans and contract specifications
  • Knowledge of inspection methods and techniques
  • Good verbal/writing communication skills and ability to work in a team environment with associates, contractors, developers and engineers

Salary Range and Benefits:
  • Non-exempt position with the potential of overtime pay (time and a half)
  • Expected base salary range: $35.00 per hour to $45.00 per hour
  • Monthly cell phone allowance provided
