Quality Inspectorย 

Inspects product using established specifications that ensure quality. Packs finished product according to customer requirements and established specifications.ย 
Shift 1st/2nd/3rdย ย 
1st shift-6a.m.-2p.m.ย 
2nd shift-2p.m.-10p.m.ย 
3rd shift 10p.m.-6a.m.ย 
What You'll Work Onย 
-Reviews Quality Standards: Studies production orders, drawings, manufacturing and customer specifications. Verifies specifications with supervisor and quality assurance department, as needed.ย 
-Identifies Product Quality: Physically and manually inspects products and dimensional characteristics and follows SOP's and Work Instructions regarding non-conformances.ย 
-Packaging Materials: Reviews order requirements and expected product output per shift or assignment. Gathers necessary materials, preps boxes, liners, bags and other supplies per spec.ย 
-Label Creation: Reviews production order and specifications. Inputs information into computer and prints the required labels. Verifies accuracy of label content.ย 
-Wrap and Pack: Reviews order specifications and materials to wrap and pack product in compliance with order.ย 
-Documentation: Accurately notes quantity counts. Utilizes basic math, reading and use of ruler skills. Completes required paperwork per department work instructions.ย 
-Inspection Completion: Obtains Quality Assurance approval. Segregates all rejects. Records and summarizes inspection process per department work instructions. Notifies operator of defects immediately.ย 
-Department Schedule: Works the standard shift. May be required to work additional hours when needed.ย

-Reads and follows detailed instructions.ย 
-High degree of attention to detail.ย 
-Possesses basic mathematical aptitude.ย 
-Accurately reads measuring rule.ย 
-Possesses effective communication skills.ย 
Physical Requirements:ย 
-May be required to stand for long periods of time while performing duties.ย 
-Must be able to work safely with materials and equipment.ย 
-The ability to read and understand documents and drawings.ย 
-The ability to follow directions or instruction.ย 
-The ability to lift up to 50 pounds.ย

-Works in controlled Manufacturing environment.ย 
-Hearing protection recommended.ย 
-Hair, beard nets and smocks required.ย 
-Exposure to manufacturing and printing equipment (moving parts, cutters, etc.).ย 
-Exposure to materials and handling equipment.ย 
-Exposure to odors associated with manufacturing.ย 
Required Qualificationsย 
-High school diploma or trade school certification, specialized training/apprenticeship and/or equivalent in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or other equivalentย 
-Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environmentย 
-Ability to work with assemblers and other non-technical personnelย 
-Ability to teach and coach othersย 
-Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teamsย 
-Adept at handling multiple assignments in a timely manner to meet assigned deadlinesย 
-Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work under limited supervisionย 
Preferred Qualificationsย 
-0-3 years of manufacturing technician experience preferred, but not requiredย 
-Medical device experience preferred, but not requiredย 
-Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and basic Excel use for data analysisย
