The work model for the role is: Onsite, Mebane, NC

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Conducts test protocols, as assigned, to ensure the parts, products, and systems meet specified requirements and customer expectations for incoming, manufacturing or final inspection quality, as applicable.

  • Supports quality control needs and activities for supplier quality, production quality, testing, and validation, as applicable in the local organization.

  • Assists in specific quality-related training, promoting a passion for quality and integrity in all actions, with a focus on result orientation.

  • Reports quality issues data, ensuring adherence to quality management system at all stages.

  • Collaborates in improving existing test protocols and capability, resulting in greater efficiency, and accuracy.

  • Evaluates quantitative metrics that provide descriptive data for the determination of compliance with requirements.

  • Trains local operational teams in quality assurance and testing routines and verifies that testing is performed as a part of the specified control plans.


Qualifications for the role:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards preferred.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

  • Skilled in using measurement and inspection tools.

  • Experience with non-conformance documentation preferred.

  • Understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes.

  • Basic knowledge of statistical analysis tools.

  • Experience with ERP or MES systems (SAP preferred).

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.

  • Knowledge of continuous improvement tools preferred.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Ability to safely use a ladder and lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs.

  • Certifications such as Certified Quality Inspector or Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt are a plus.
