Job Overview

This position is responsible for various aspects of Quality Control.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties

 

  • Perform inspection and/or test of mechanical and electrical components and assemblies per written procedures using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other gages, as well as visual inspection of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA).
  • Document test and inspection results following good documentation practices.
  • Aid in the return of material to supplier, to stock, or to the Production floor through the MRB/NCMR process. 
  • Disposition material as acceptable or not acceptable based on results of inspection, testing, and/or workmanship.
  • Provide support to SQEs by inspecting all material requiring PPAP (Production Parts Approval Process) and providing feedback if material is not in accordance to specifications.
  • Inspection of Collagen Product.
  • Responsible for the inspection and acceptance or rejection of material reworked by Operations, following the instructions submitted on the rework NCMR paperwork.
  • Provide feedback to cross-functional teams on procedural issues that would need update to conform to SOPs.

Minimum Requirements

 

  • 2 years technical school or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years minimum experience with production and/or quality control inspection/testing.
  • 1-3 years mechanical inspection experience; basic knowledge of PCBA inspection preferred

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

 

  • Quality Control inspection experience
  • Ability to follow written and verbal test and inspection instructions in English
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings
  • Ability to record data and written information in English
  • Ability to inspect/test a wide variety of product types
  • Ability to travel between multiple sites in order to conduct inspections.
  • The ability to use Microsoft Windows and Office products such as Word, Excel or equivalent software applications.

Salary range: $27.00- $30.00 p/hr., depending upon experience and location-hourly role with multiple locations
