Job description

  • Responsible for preparing First Piece Reports for each line running.
  • Responsible for doing ink color checks.
  • Responsible for all special testing required by procedures.
  • Responsible for doing overflows as required.
  • Required to perform hourly quality checks.
  • Required to line audit while collecting hourly samples and in any free time.
  • Required to keep spec sheets in their proper place, filing away old ones and putting new ones in their appropriate place.
  • Responsible for auditing any blank bottle finished goods lines in Production.
  • Daily plant walk through to identify issues. (visual)
  • Perform last shot measurement and visual ANALYSIS
  • Ensure that information going out to the production floor is correct. (Pick lists and stickers)

  • Evaluates and takes appropriate action to maintain a safe work environment with established standards and guidelines.

EDUCATION:
Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
SKILLS:
Required: Must have been qualified back-up QC Inspector or a qualified Packer/Selector if no back-ups are available. Must have good attendance, must have shown dependability in current position, and must have good reading and writing skills. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds continuously throughout the shift. Work involves continuous lifting, bending, reaching and twisting.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (if applicable):
This position requires the cognitive and mental ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Mechanical Aptitude a plus.
