What's the job?

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector for all three shifts with responsibilities focused upon optimizing and maintaining production processes and product scrap reduction. You MUST be available to work every other weekend until the work is completed and up to date.

Key Responsibilities:

Record inspection information on Inspection Record Sheet.
Inspect product for ALL quality requirements per the inspection SOP and Blue Book Requirements.
Review boundary samples and or Product Standards as applicable.
Review and sign Quality Alert upon initiation for verification of awareness.
Enter inspection results into data file ie: Firewall.
Review Inspection Matrix for correct inspection requirements.
Maintain inspection goal output per inspection SOP.
Verify accuracy of carton labels, serial numbers, part #'s and qty. by highlighting part number and serial number on both labels.
Communicate with shift supervisor on excessive rejects.
Write ID number on all automotive parts.
Identify product status of inspection by highlighting label and writing or stamping the label with employee number.
Perform Dock Audits as required.
Complete re-inspection of Non-Conforming material after disposition has been completed.
Communication with previous and on coming GP12 with any issues or inspection instructions.
Dispose of scrap/rejected parts as directed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
Participate, as needed, in internal problem solving/improvement.
Other duties as assigned by supervision.
