Job description

IMKO is hiring a Quality Control Inspector for a state of the arc client in the bio medical industry. This is a full-time Quality Inspector opening on the 2nd shift.  The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, hard-working environment with the potential to grow with the client company. 
 
Quality Control Inspector Responsibilities are, however, will not be limited to:
 
  1. Become SME for technical products such as circuit boards and programming.
  2. Become troubleshooting point of contact for production when manufacturing issues arise to assist with root cause analysis for equipment processes.
  3. Perform inspections on all incoming goods relative to equipment assembly in accordance with Quality Control Plan and Engineering drawings.
  4. Perform in-process and finished goods inspections as required, assist with development and improvement of such processes as opportunities for improvement are recognized.
  5. Review GMP and company standards regularly to ensure compliance and quality of inventory produced.
  6. Establish and maintain a working understanding of the manufacturing process in each of the consumables and equipment assembly departments.
  7. Perform and record daily quality control checks on production lines.
  8. Rework and repack segregated inventory as directed to bring products up to quality standards, document/record.
  9. Independently perform Rack inspections and Blower burn-ins; documenting test results and segregating all non-conforming inventory.
  10. Assist with creating Standard Operating Procedures on new processes.
  11. Ability to use basic quality tools such as calipers, pin gauges, and air flow meters
  12. Familiarity with GMP or FDA regulations.
  13. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  14. Experience with circuit boards and their manufacturing processes is a plus.
  15. 2 years of experience in a quality control position is required.
  16. Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  17. Experience with welding and inspection of welding is a plus.
  18. Background in engineering, mathematics or other sciences, a plus.
