Position Summary
The Quality Control Supervisor partners closely with the Distribution Center Manager to ensure operational accuracy, inventory integrity, and compliance with established warehouse quality standards.
This role is responsible for overseeing quality control processes across warehouse operations, monitoring order accuracy, investigating discrepancies, and coaching team members on best practices to maintain exceptional performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Distribution Center Manager and provide leadership coverage as needed
  • Help foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on quality, accuracy, and warehouse excellence
  • Monitor and enforce quality control standards across all warehouse functions
  • Oversee process accuracy across:
    • Picking
    • Packing
    • Shipping
    • Replenishment
    • Returns
    • Assortment operations
  • Ensure shipping accuracy of all outbound orders
  • Maintain QC accuracy at or above 99.90%
  • Identify and eliminate short ships, mis-picks, incorrect shipments, and address errors
  • Drive a strong quality-first mindset with heavy focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Assist with reviewing and submitting employee timecards
  • Support timely shipment fulfillment and invoicing processes
  • Assist with resource planning, including temporary staffing deployment
  • Promote continuity of warehouse operations and workflow efficiency
  • Maintain inventory integrity by investigating discrepancies and tracking adjustments
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies, procedures, and standards
  • Lead receiving and pre-pack operations, including daily postings
  • Investigate order errors, inventory discrepancies, and process breakdowns to identify root causes
  • Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness to support efficient and accurate operations

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Lift truck safety certification
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Experience with warehouse operations and inventory control processes
  • Proficiency in computer systems and warehouse management systems
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards
  • Ability to adapt to evolving processes and operational demands
  • Ability to train employees to perform designated functions
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
