Job description

Join a dedicated healthcare team in the heart of the Midwest region, providing essential mammography services that support early detection and patient care. As a Mammography Technologist, you will operate specialized mammographic equipment to perform exams, ensuring accurate records for radiologist interpretation.
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform mammography procedures following departmental policies and safety standards.
  • Accurately interpret and follow physician orders.
  • Provide patient care tailored to age and individual needs.
  • Maintain patient and departmental documentation with precision.
  • Support compliance with MQSA and ACR standards through data collection and quality control.
  • Participate in radiation safety and quality assurance programs.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development and demonstrate exemplary professional conduct.

Education
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist training program is required.
Experience
Preferred: At least one year of experience as a mammography technologist.
Certification and Licensure
Candidates must be either a currently registered radiologic technologist (ARRT(R)) undergoing mammography training per MQSA guidelines with intent to pass the mammography registry when eligible, or a registered mammography technologist (ARRT(M)).
Mental and Physical Requirements
This role demands close mental and visual attention for extended periods and the ability to work under stressful conditions. Physical activities include standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 35 lbs, and mobility throughout the department.
