Job description

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to work remotely, with occasional travel (approximately once per month) to conduct audits using a company-provided vehicle
  • Occasional travel (approximately once per quarter) is required to attend training sessions.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant work experience in quality assurance, auditing, compliance, data review, administrative support, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.
  • Experience with quality audits, documentation review, or process improvement initiatives preferred.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively and professionally with team members at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently, analyze information, conduct research, and make sound decisions.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of assignments and follow tasks through completion.
  • Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and provide recommendations.
  • Experience working with electronic databases, dashboards, or reporting systems preferred.

The QA/QC Assistant supports the QA/QC Manager in maintaining and improving quality assurance processes, policies, and procedures used by employees. This role is responsible for continuous monitoring, evaluation, and quality control audits to ensure compliance with established standards and support the Georgia vehicle inspection program.
The QA/QC Assistant works closely with various departments to review processes, identify opportunities for improvement, document findings, and provide recommendations to enhance overall program quality and compliance.
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, with a one-hour lunch break.
  • Pay Range: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour.
  • Status: Full-Time
  • Work Arrangement: Approximately 95% remote, with about 5% travel to service centers for audits (approximately once per month).

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct audits of electronic records, departmental processes, and documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to established standards.
  • Document audit results, report findings, and maintain accurate audit records.
  • Identify compliance issues, process gaps, and opportunities for continuous improvement, recommending corrective actions as needed.
  • Perform basic testing of dashboard applications and public-facing websites to verify functionality, accuracy, and quality.
  • Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining QA/QC standard operating procedures and work instructions to improve effectiveness and compliance.
  • Support document control activities, including version control, distribution, and archival of quality documents.
  • Attend meetings and participate in discussions related to quality assurance initiatives, audit results, and process improvements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
