Job description

Quality Control - $17.25-$17.75/hr
This is a direct-hire position
Integrity Trade Services is seeking qualified quality control candidates for an automotive supplier located in Portage, IN. Candidates should have prior experience in Quality Control in a manufacturing environmnet
Responsibilities:
• Inspect incoming raw materials, components, and supplier shipments according to quality standards, control plans, and engineering specifications.
• Perform dimensional inspections using measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Review supplier documentation including Certificates of Conformance (COC), packing slips, and inspection reports.
• Verify parts meet engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials.
• Initiate and process nonconformance reports (NCRs) when supplier issues are identified.
• Communicate quality concerns to the Quality Manager, production leadership, and supplier quality personnel.
• Support containment activities and supplier corrective actions when defects are discovered.
• Maintain inspection records and ensure documentation is accurate and complete.
• Work closely with receiving and warehouse teams to ensure proper material handling and inspection flow.
• Assist with supplier quality improvement initiatives.
• Follow company safety policies and quality standards including automotive quality system requirements.

Location: Portage, IN
Schedule/Shift Details:
  • Day Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm
  • Night Shift: 6:00pm - 2:30am
  • Monday - Friday. Extra days as needed

Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1-3 years of quality inspection experience, preferably in automotive or manufacturing environments.
• Basic understanding of quality control methods and inspection processes.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain accurate documentation.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
