Job description

Are you a detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed employee with at least 1 year of quality control experience? This Quality Control role may be a perfect fit for you!
This is a leading food manufacturing company producing high-quality products, such as stuffed peppers and olives. This role offers a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment where your contributions help keep production running safely and efficiently. This is a long-term position that provides steady work, competitive pay, and opportunities for growth.
In this role, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards. This is a great opportunity for individuals with a strong understanding of safety and enjoy working independently and as part of a team.
Qaulity Control Responsibilities:
•    Conduct pre-operational inspections to verify equipment functionality and cleanliness of production lines.  
•    Perform regular checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to identify any defects, deviations, or quality issues.  
•    Use quality control instruments, such as luminometers, refractometers, thermometers, gas analyzers, and pH meters, to conduct assessments and ensure accurate measurements.
•    Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, industry regulations, and company standards, documenting all inspections, tests, and findings.
•    Work safely in cold environments (40-50°F).
•    Perform repetitive tasks and maintain a steady pace throughout the work shift.
•    Report any health or safety concerns to supervisors.
Schedule:  Monday-Friday 5:00am-1:30pm
Pay: $18.00/hr
Qaulity Control Requirements:
•    At least one year of prior experience in quality control
•    Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, crouching, standing, and walking for extended periods of time
•    Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cold environment
•    Consistently follows safety protocols and wears required Personal Protective Equipment
•    Attention to detail, team-oriented, and good communication skills
•    Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
