Alloy Fasteners' warehouse distribution facility in Goshen, Indiana is GROWING! We are looking to hire positive, reliable, hard-working team players to join our amazing team.

Monday - Friday: 1st Shift Only

We are seeking POSITIVE, reliable, hard-working team members to help process orders in our Indiana distribution facility. Success on this team means:

What You'll be Doing:

  • Specializing in a specific warehouse function: Packing, Picking, or Shipping/Receiving.
  • Operating equipment: Including digital scales, calipers, computers, forklifts, and other equipment.
  • Providing Quality Control: Inspecting all products before and after packing, ensuring incoming and outgoing shipments are properly packaged and processed according to ISO regulations. Attention to detail is vital!
  • This role involves counting, handling, and inspecting large quantities of products daily.
  • Each area of our warehouse operates under ISO guidelines.
  • Ensuring timely Accuracy: Ensuring accurate inspections and quantities is the goal.
  • Speed comes naturally, as you internalize procedures.
  • Working as a Team: Knowing when to ask for help, and when to assist your teammates. Being present, on time, and eager to help your team build working relationships and create efficient workflow.

Other: In addition, each role in our warehouse:

  • Must follow all safety regulations.
  • Operates under ISO guidelines.
  • Has clear tasks, positions, and is organized for productivity.
  • Includes repetitive actions that maximize consistent, high-quality results, and help the day pass quickly.

How You'll Be Successful: The key measures of success for this position are:

  • Accuracy & Productivity - Consistently maintaining (and striving to improve) expected Accuracy for inspections, paperwork, and quantities every day, while productively working through shipments and orders.
  • Teamwork - Working collaboratively with your Team, providing feedback to team, and ideas/suggestions to management on ways to improve the workplace while meeting ISO regulations and maintaining accuracy.
  • Reliability - Being present (in mind and body) to help your team carry the workload, having a Positive Attitude, and being eager and open to help and learn.
  • Safety - Consistently working in a Safe manner, following all safety regulations, wearing required PPE, and immediately reporting any unsafe working conditions.

What We Are Looking For:

  • In this role you will be expected to be lifting, lowering, and carrying packages that typically weigh 25 - 35 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs., be standing on your feet for extended periods of time, and (at times) work in reasonably warm/cool environments.
  • No specific warehouse experience is necessary, but a solid track record of focused and productive work is desired.
  • Safety-toe boots or shoes are required, and the company will reimburse up to $50 toward the purchase of safety-toe boots/shoes.
  • Training and Experience with forklift driving, use of calipers, and computers is a plus!
