Set-up Tech C

Job Description:

The Set-Up C Technician supports the productionneeds of the operationby setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting machineswithassistanceand/or direction from management or qualified associates.

1st Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:00pm

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set-up,operate, andmaintainequipmentas needed to support operations

  • Make professional and lasting modifications and repairs to existing equipmentwith direction from management or qualified associates

  • Responsible for cosmetic criteria as specified and communicating criteria to employees

  • Relay pertinent product and quality related information to Operators, Inspectors, Supervisors, and peers, in bothwritten and verbalforms

  • Documentation of production, maintenance, and QC audits performed

  • Organizing andmaintainingthe order and cleanliness of equipment, storageareasandthedepartment as a whole

  • Other duties and projects, as required by production and business need

Education, Skills,and Experience:

  • High SchoolDiploma or equivalent required

  • Previousmanufacturing experience preferred

  • Successful completion of Mechanical Aptitude test

  • Established ability toidentifyand communicate issues and offer proposed solutions

  • Greatattention to detailisrequired

  • Ability to manage interruptions in a professional and respectful manner is essential

  • Above basic math skills and reasoning ability

  • Moderate computer and Microsoft Office skills

  • Forklift certification
