Quality Control Inspector

Pay: $24+/hour
Shift: Night Shift
Position: Temp-to-Hire
Location: Catoosa, OK



Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for conducting inspection activities to ensure that products meet specified requirements, in accordance with established quality plans, engineering specifications, and procedures. This includes performing incoming, in-process, and final dimensional and visual inspections of materials and assemblies. The Inspector will electronically record inspection results and manage nonconforming products following established work instructions and quality system procedures. Close collaboration with Manufacturing is required to ensure full compliance with engineering requirements. Additional responsibilities include punctual attendance, working onsite and overtime as needed, and maintaining professional interactions with customers, vendors, and colleagues. The role demands the ability to multitask, adapt in a fast-paced environment, and work cooperatively with others.


Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Welding inspection experience is required; AWS D1.1 experience is preferred.
  • Experience in calibrating inspection and test equipment is preferred.
  • Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications.
  • Knowledge of Nondestructive Examination (NDE) and powder coating processes.
  • Familiarity with Mag Particle Inspection is preferred.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret a tape measure accurately.
