Medical Lab Technician - $9k Sign-on
Schedule
Full-time: 80 hours (2 week), day shift, rotating,
6:30 am to 5:00 pm 4x10s.
Duties / Responsibilities
  • Skilled and efficient in executing complex clinical procedures as directed under supervision.
  • Accurately identifies and addresses issues with quality control (QC) and quality assurance (QA), taking appropriate corrective actions.
  • Competently carries out assigned preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Readily and consistently completes team assignments and other tasks as assigned.
  • Maintains effective communication at all times.
  • Adheres to laboratory and hospital policies consistently.
Education / Experience
  • Associate's Degree from an accredited two (2) year Medical Laboratory Technician Program.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
  • Must have or ability to acquire ASCP certification within 6 months of hire
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to follow established procedures
  • Must be able to work well independently
  • Keen attention to detail and exceptional follow through skills
