Quality Inspector I – Optics
Tualatin, OR
Pay: $22+/hour DOE

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in quality inspection, quality control, manufacturing, metrology, optics inspection, or precision measurement who thrive in a fast-paced production environment.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Performing visual, functional, and mechanical inspections to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications

  • Using metrology tools and established inspection methods to verify product acceptability

  • Conducting optics inspections, collimator setup, and inspection data verification

  • Identifying nonconforming materials and supporting corrective actions and root cause investigations

  • Maintaining accurate inspection records and completing transactions within company systems

  • Supporting continuous improvement, 5S initiatives, and quality-focused manufacturing processes

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Previous manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred

  • Experience with precision measurement tools and metrology equipment preferred

  • Oracle or Agile experience is a plus

  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
