Your Opportunity, Your Team

  • The Quality Control Associate role supports Cornerstone Brands (Ballard Designs, Frontgate, Grandin Road, Garnet Hill). You will inspect, evaluate, and verifying the quality of furniture and home decor products received, stored, and shipped from the distribution warehouse. You will report to an Operations Supervisor.

Where You'll Work

  • This role is onsite and will require you to work from our Goodyear, AZ fulfillment center daily. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

What You'll Do

  • Inspect incoming and outbound furniture, home decor, and accessory products to verify they meet company quality standards, customer expectations, and safety requirements.
  • Identify, document, and report defects, damage, packaging issues, and inventory discrepancies while maintaining accurate inspection and non-conformance records.
  • Perform detailed quality evaluations of furniture components, finishes, upholstery, hardware, assembled products, labeling, barcodes, and packaging.
  • Partner with Receiving, Inventory Control, Operations, and Customer Service teams to resolve quality issues, segregate defective merchandise, and support proper disposition procedures.
  • Uphold warehouse quality and safety standards by following operational guidelines and handling, storing, and shipping products.

What You'll Bring

  • 6+ months experience in adistribution/fulfillmentcenter environment
  • Experience in quality control, warehouse operations, distribution, or product inspection with furniture, home decor, or similar consumer goods.
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify defects, evaluate product condition, and maintain accurate quality documentation.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety practices, inventory accuracy, labeling, packaging, and shipment verification to support smooth daily operations.
