Responsibilities

Brasfield & Gorrie is currently accepting applications for a Quality Control Inspector. Below are the main responsibilities for this position.  

  • Conduct field inspections of work in progress
  • Prepare daily reports on progress and potential concerns
  • Coordinate subcontractors, monitoring progress and adherence to plan specifications and procedures.
  • Review subcontractor material submittal and shop drawings and check for compliance.
  • Verify field dimensions and plan reviews
  • Checking rough opening for doors and windows, in-wall rough in, and elevations
  • Review plans and field coordination with contractors

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience
  • Associates or Bachelor degree in construction or related preferred or equivalent work experience in the construction industry
  • Working knowledge of construction projects and building processes
  • 2-3 years of experience working in the commercial construction industry strongly preferred

  • Strong analytical and decision making skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • General knowledge of construction safety
  • Excellent communication skills
Qualifications:
