Road & Rail Services
Job Title: Railcar Inspector/Prep
Location: West Point, GA.
Position Summary:
As part of an award-winning team in the logistics industry, you will perform the essential cleaning and inspection functions necessary to prepare railcars for transport.
Areas of Responsibility:
comply with all industry, customer and company safety regulations and operating procedures
Inspect and assist in opening and closing railcar end doors
Inspect railcars for damage/fatigue
Identify repairs that can be performed by Road & Rail Services
Through the use of backpack blowers and various scraping devices remove all debris and other contaminates which could potentially cause vehicle damage
Maintain accountability and maintenance for all assigned equipment
Perform housekeeping duties as required by Management
What's Required:
High School Diploma/GED or Ability
Safety first mentality
Ability to work in fast paced environment
Able to meet attendance requirements
A teamwork, can do attitude and willing to learn
Ability to work in all weather
Valid state driver's license
