Job description

Midlab is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician/Analyst to join our team in Athens, Tennessee. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the quality, consistency, and performance of our products through laboratory testing, data analysis, and adherence to established quality standards. The ideal candidate will have laboratory experience, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
Essential Responsibilities include the following: others may be assigned
  • Perform quality control testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
  • Conduct chemical and physical analyses using established laboratory procedures.
  • Accurately record, analyze, and communicate test results.
  • Investigate out-of-specification results and assist in identifying corrective actions.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment through routine calibration, verification, and preventive maintenance.
  • Prepare samples, solutions, and laboratory documentation as required.
  • Support process improvement and quality initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
  • Assist with audits, inspections, and projects.

Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field preferred.
  • Laboratory, quality control, or manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document findings.
