Job description

The Inventory Control Assoc II is responsible for accurately receiving all deliveries into the Westrock Collins facility. This position reports to the Inventory Supervisor and Inventory Specialist.
Job Duties:
  • Receives deliveries daily.
  • Performs truck inspection before accepting the load.
  • Verifies product and quantity received matches bill of lading (BOL) and delivery schedule to ensure proper invoicing.
  • Operate a forklift in a safe and proficient manner.
  • Partners with Quality Assurance team on the collection of green coffee samples for testing which includes moisture and temperature.
  • Communicates with Roasting and Grinding/QA team with staging of green coffee deliveries.
  • When applicable properly receive products against PO's and upload documents to NetSuite, notifying relevant parties/individuals of parcels.
  • Accurately receives transfer orders from other Westrock locations.
  • Operates a powered lift truck to perform job duties.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Perform all duties and actions in a safe manner and continuously monitor areas to ensure that safety procedures are being followed.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, standards, safety and GMP requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • 1-2 years' experience monitoring product quality.
  • 1-2 years of certified forklift experience.
  • Strong mathematical skills using percentages and fractions while working with recipes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanics.
  • Basic computer skills. (Microsoft Office)
