*Rate includes $202 daily tax-exempt stipend

Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree and 1 year Surgical Technology or Sterile Processing experience in a healthcare related setting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Certification as a sterile processing technician strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of surgical instrumentation/equipment and sterile processing essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments.
  • Prepares sterile trays and ensures quality control compliance.
  • Participates in the development processes and procedures in the care and assembly of surgical instruments.
  • Works with clinical staff to manage instrument inventory and availability.
