Quality Control Inspector
Pay Rate: $19.00/hr
Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to coordinate and perform daily inspection activities in a manufacturing environment. This role is critical to ensuring that all incoming, in-process, and finished products meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between Operations and Quality, driving consistent inspection practices, prompt issue resolution, and continuous quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily quality control inspections based on production priorities and risk factors.
  • Ensure all inspections adhere to established inspection plans, technical drawings, specifications, and standardized methods.
  • Verify compliance with internal procedures and regulatory standards, including ISO 13485.
  • Promptly escalate critical quality risks that could affect product quality, delivery, or regulatory compliance.
  • Perform inspections as needed to support workflow and ensure operational continuity.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by monitoring for safety risks and enforcing safety protocols.
  • Promote and support 5S practices, workplace safety, quality standards, and consistent adherence to company and plant policies.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant work experience in quality control or a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to make independent decisions regarding product quality.
  • Understanding of production flows and processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead or coordinate with others.
  • Basic computer literacy, including data entry; familiarity with SAP and ISO 9001 is preferred.
  • Proficient in English.
Physical Requirements:
  • Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift.
  • Repetitive movements required for inspection tasks.
