We are all about quality food and customer satisfaction.


We are currently seeking a QC Technician at our Diversified Foods and Seasonings facility in Theodore, AL

The QC Technician's responsibilities are to assist the QC Manager and QC Supervisor with executing the company's and plant's vision and mission by assuring that all products meet regulatory, customer, and company specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-operational and post-operational SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) and SSOP (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices inspections and document the results.
  • Conduct raw, in-process, and finished product testing (chemical and microbiological), along with product review of products against customer and company specifications and documenting the results.
  • Upper management of product failures and place the product on hold as well as release the product upon final disposition by management.
  • Issue corrective action reports for SOP/ SSOP/HACCP deviations and document follow-up.
  • Train employees and all other duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Basic understanding of lab procedures and microbiology
  • Basic math and intermediate reading skills
  • Able to identify differences in colors
  • Able to lift over 50 pounds and must have a good, solid back and knees with full mobility.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a science-related field
  • Previous QC or food manufacturing experience
