Position Description
Field Oversight & Audits
  • Conduct site walks during each visit (target: 2 sites/day unless remote).
  • Perform QC Audits using standard forms; communicate findings to project leadership.
  • Reinspect prior audit items and confirm resolution/closure of deficiencies.
  • Verify team adherence to established QC processes / protocols (Pre-Pour, Moisture Testing, Wood Framing Dry Out, Envelope / Air Barrier Review, etc.).
  • Coordinate drone flights and total station layout for pre-pour review.

Quality Review & Compliance
  • Review installed work for compliance with contract documents, specifications, and approved submittals.
  • Inspect stored materials for compliance with approved submittals and specifications.
  • Review and validate required mock-ups and critical assemblies.
  • Confirm submittals align with installed work in coordination with Project Engineer.

Design & Consultant Coordination
  • Coordinate field reports from design consultants (Structural, Civil, MEP).
  • Review architect/engineer/consultant field reports and support team response.
  • Review envelope consultant field reports and verify findings are addressed and closed out.
  • Assist with communication to subcontractors and suppliers regarding deficient work and corrective action.

Coordination & Support
  • Participate in key pre-installation meetings (roofing, envelope, siding, windows, masonry, finishes, etc.).
  • Assist project teams with RFIs as needed.
  • Coordinate with project teams on upcoming site visits and key QC milestone dates.

Documentation & Reporting
  • Document ongoing issues and maintain QC records within Teams folder structure.
  • Review weekly project photo documentation for adequacy and QC tracking.

Project Closeout
  • Review and sign off on final punch lists.
  • Assist project teams with resolving quality issues in coordination with design team.
  • Coordinate 1-year QC walk with service department 1-year warranty walk.

Continuous Improvement
  • Provide recommendations on best practices, construction methods, and Korsmo standards.
  • Chair the QC Committee. Develop agenda and lead meetings.
  • Maintain and update Lessons Learned library and QC checklists.

General
  • Review critical quality risk areas with project teams and establish control strategies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Fulltime (40 hours) exempt position with a salary range of $110,000 - $ 145,000 per year depending on experience.
Position Requirements
Position requires a bachelor's degree, 3 to 5 years industry related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have competency in MS Windows as well as MS Office365.
