Job description

Position Title: Quality Control Analyst
Location: Location: Vienna, VA OR Pensacola, FL - hybrid in both locations with 3 days a week onsite
Pay: $45/hr on W2
Quality Control Analyst Description: To review, analyze, and report on Navy Federal's quality, service, and controls, to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness, mitigate risk and remediate operational and regulatory vulnerabilities. Conduct quality control reviews of documentation, processes, and/or system to ensure compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements, industry standards, and Navy Federal operating procedures. Maintain data in the quality control system platform to ensure adherence with regulatory government agencies requirements. Monitor corrective action target dates to ensure prompt remediation and control implementation to comply with regulatory government agencies requirements. Maintain and update quality control procedural manuals, job aides, and tools. Level I: Basic/routine review and analysis, with moderate scope/impact. Primary focus is recurring quality control audits.
Responsibilities
? Evaluate decisions, process adherence, and regulatory requirements for compliance with applicable state and federal laws, and adherence to established guidelines and Service Level Agreement (SLA)
? Evaluate and monitor quality of documentation for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to internal standards to identify issues and reduce potential risk exposure to Navy Federal
? Perform and validate in-depth and comprehensive gap analyses to determine the root cause of process gaps and regulatory compliance failures
? Quality review and audit documentation, files, and/or transactions individually or in aggregate to determine if processes and documentation comply with internal policy and procedures, and/or government regulations
? Develop solutions for quality issues identified; maintain effective communication with business partners and support teams to identify target remediation dates; assist with implementation of corrective actions
? Ensure quality through data integrity and risk management
? Stay abreast of applicable changes in the industry, as well as, federal regulations, and state laws and understand impacts or changes to processes
? Agile and flexible to changes whether driven by industry, investors, company, or department initiatives/mandates
? Recognize red flag/ potential misrepresentation and identifying appropriate channels of reporting
? Monitor corrective action to ensure prompt, consistent, and effective remediation
? Research escalated issues as needed and determine or collaborate with team on the resolution
? Gather, analyze, and synthesize data for presentations and reports
? Assist in ensuring a compliant Quality Control Program
? Maintain clear and organized documentation in relation to quality and noted deficiencies identified
? Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
โ€ข Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Auditing, or related field or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience
โ€ข Basic knowledge or experience of the industry
โ€ข Basic knowledge of credit union, and/or lending or banking principles, systems, policies and techniques
โ€ข Experience identifying relevant analytical problems, determining appropriate diagnostic methods, and solving unique and complex issues/problems
