Position: Kitchen Quality Assurance


Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Kitchen Quality Assurance Associate to help ensure food products, processes, and kitchen operations meet company quality, food-safety, and sanitation standards. This position will monitor production activities, perform quality checks, and report any issues that may affect product quality or food safety.


Work Responsibilities
  • Monitor kitchen and food-production processes to ensure quality and food-safety standards are followed.
  • Perform routine quality inspections of food products, ingredients, equipment, and work areas.
  • Check products for proper appearance, temperature, weight, labeling, and overall quality.
  • Verify that employees are following established food-safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Document quality checks, inspections, and findings accurately.
  • Identify and report quality or food-safety concerns to management.
  • Assist with investigating product or process issues and help identify corrective actions.
  • Monitor proper handling, storage, and preparation of food products.
  • Ensure production areas meet required cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  • Follow company policies, HACCP procedures, and applicable food-safety requirements.
  • Communicate quality concerns clearly with production and management teams.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete required paperwork.
  • Perform other quality assurance duties as assigned.


Qualifications
  • Previous experience in Quality Assurance, food production, food safety, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.
  • Ability to follow written procedures and maintain accurate records.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen/food-production environment.
