Quality Assurance Associate - Food Science
LHH is looking for a Quality Assurance Associate for our client, a food manufacturing company here in NYC. This person will support regulatory compliance, food safety, quality assurance projects.. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to gain hands-on experience within food manufacturing/processing industry. This position will pay from $20-25/hr.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update product information within compliance and food safety databases.
  • Assist with reviewing and validating product labeling, nutritional information, and item identification data.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain supplier documentation, including product specifications and compliance records.
  • Support food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory projects as needed.
  • Assist with administrative and data management activities related to compliance programs.
Qualifications
  • Experience or interest in Food Science, Nutrition, Food Technology, Dairy Science, or a related field.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
