Job description

Position Title: QA Visual Inspector
Department: Quality
Location: Fenton, MO
Reports To: Quality Manager
Classification: Hourly - Non-Exempt
Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday - Thursday 5am-3pm

What You'll Do
  • Perform visual inspections on machined and assembled components.
  • Identify, document, and contain nonconforming product.
  • Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation.
  • Communicate quality requirements and inspection findings with production personnel.
  • Maintain inspection equipment and ensure tools remain clean and in proper working order.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 6 months of quality inspection or manufacturing experience.
  • Must be able to use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Basic computer skills (email, documentation, accessing work instructions).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent visual inspection skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with production teams.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience inspecting precision machined components.
  • Knowledge of first article or in-process inspections.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and problem solving.
