Location:ย  ย High Point, NCย  ย /ย  ย  Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00AM to 2:30PM ย  ย /ย  ย $21.28 Hourly with Excellent Benefits

We are actively seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our team in High Point, NC.ย  The Quality Assurance Technician will ensure textiles for customer use meet or exceed the established minimum quality levels in the Quality Control Program. Minimize textile losses from mishandling or incorrect processing. Assure efficacy of all wash processes & finishing achieving full-service life of all textiles. Aide in keeping the facility in compliance with TRSA Hygienically Clean and other quality standards.ย  Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Textile Testing: new product spec testing, circulating linen spot checks, vendor assurance spot checks, circulating weight testing.
  • Process monitoring: daily visual inspection of wash systems for proper function and operation, regular checks of soiled load weights, soil factors, etc.
  • Wash System Titrations: support proper washroom chemistry through regular titration checks.
  • Regulated Waste Management: collection, verification, chain of custody, disposition.
  • Rewash / Ragout: collection of data from QC department & data entry of information.
  • Microbiological Testing: collection of water, air, surface, and textile samples
  • Effluent Monitoring: daily sampling (pH, TDS, temperature) of wastewater discharge.
  • Regular audits for compliance with TRSA and other regulatory standards.
  • Recordkeeping: data entry for the following โ€“ RMW, effluent monitoring, microbiological testing, textile testing, QC audits, rewash and ragout reports, etc.

Job Requirements:

  • Understanding of basic chemistry principles such as PH, water hardness, and the ability to titrate solutions to find the concentrations of wash chemicals.ย 
  • Ability to learn and have working knowledge of LinenMaster, Microsoft Office Suite and E-Tech software.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus.
  • Excellent problem solving, writing, communication & people skills.
  • Ability to familiarize all products.
  • Ability to withstand walking, standing & climbing stairs, pushing and pulling full carts of linen. Ability to perform repetitive motions with the arms and hands, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling as needed.ย 
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 Pounds.ย
