The team is seeking and experienced QA/AC Lead to lead the Construction QA/QC Team in Hobart Indiana. 

The QA/QC Lead Position 

The QA/QC Lead oversees a team of QA/QC agents and leads QA/QC operations on active construction projects, ensuring all installed work meets project specifications, drawings, and applicable codes. This role performs and leads field inspections, documents observations in Procore, and communicates findings to project leadership, trade partners, and field teams to ensure timely resolution of deficiencies. 

The QA/QC Lead is responsible for coordinating inspections and testing, leading QA/QC meetings and jobsite walks, and reports project quality status to the Project Manager. 

Desired Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the QA/QC Lead Position 

  • 3–4+ years of mechanical construction experience (plumbing, pipefitting, HVAC) and/or QA/QC experience 
  • 1–2+ years of leadership experience as a QA/QC lead or manager  
  • Mission-critical construction experience preferred 
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications  
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact with GCs, subcontractors, and vendors 
  • Proficiency with Procore  
  • Ability to manage tracking systems, documentation, and reporting tools
