Job Description: Quality Assurance Technician

The Quality Assurance Technician position at Wolverine Packing requires an individual who can uphold quality standards, by performing high level quality control inspections and verifications of processes. An ideal candidate would be someone who possesses great attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.


Essential Job Duties:

  • Coordinate with production on regulatory and quality issues, and document corrective actions, root cause, and preventative actions.
  • Ensure GMPs are being followed.
  • Ensure package/label integrity and accuracy.
  • Maintain product specification.
  • The ability to work 100% on plant floor.
  • Monitoring and implementation of HACCP system activities in the Quality Assurance Department.

Pay- $19.50/Hr - $21/Hr


Job Requirements:

  • Be available to work/lead pre-operational sanitation (4:30am start time)
  • Excellent time management and task prioritization abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Be detailed and organized.
  • Strong attention to detail; data and sample collection, accuracy in paperwork.
  • Good decision making and reasoning skills.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of organization.
  • Be able to monitor all areas of facility, including pens/processing floor.

2nd Shift 1:45pm - 11:30pm. Finish time will vary based on production, Monday - Friday and some Saturdays
40-50 Hours per week.
