Big-D Mission Critical is looking for an Electrical QA/QC Manager who will oversee electrical installation quality and readiness. This position can be based in Salt Lake City, UT or in a traveling role.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee electrical installation quality and readiness.
  • Assists in developing Quality Assurance standards and continuous improvement evaluations and revisions.
  • Coordinates Quality Reviews with project teams and submits reviews to management.
  • Performs onsite inspections of equipment and installations.
  • Responsible for reporting all QA/QC activities through project-specific software and internal communications.
  • Proactively works with the project team to ensure all installations are installed correctly the first time.
  • Performs work onsite with the project team in performing all inspections and reporting.
  • Develops a thorough understanding of project specifications, design, equipment, installations, quality standards, and reporting requirements.
  • Develops project-specific QA/QC plans and ensures implementation with the project team.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years electrical construction experience
  • Mission critical or data center projects
  • Campus-scale programs
  • Medium-voltage systems preferred
  • Commissioning management preferred
