The Quality Control Analyst is responsible for performing quality assurance and quality control activities across assigned projects to ensure mechanical systems and installations meet design specifications, company standards, and industry regulations. This role conducts inspections, testing, and documentation of HVAC and plumbing systems, identifies non-conformance issues, and collaborates closely with project management, engineering, and field teams to maintain high-quality outcomes. The Quality Control Analyst also supports continuous improvement initiatives and provides input to strengthen QA/QC processes throughout Corvants  Mission Critical Division.

Requirements

Job Responsibilities (List is not inclusive)

Conduct inspections and testing of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure compliance with design and specification requirements.

Prepare and maintain detailed QA/QC reports and submit findings to project and operations leadership.

Manage QA/QC records and documentation for assigned projects in accordance with company standards.

Perform quality checks on suppliers and subcontractors as needed.

Identify and investigate non-conformance issues, recommend corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and verify implementation.

Collaborate with project management, engineering, and field leadership to resolve quality-related issues.

Support process improvement initiatives to enhance field performance and compliance.

Provide training and guidance to field teams and trade partners on quality standards and documentation practices.

Ensure all QA/QC work aligns with company safety policies and industry regulations.


Required Knowledge, Education, And Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.

2-5 years of experience in QA/QC, construction, or mechanical systems environments.

Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Familiarity with quality management tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA, CAPA).

Excellent analytical, organizational, and report-writing skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and related QA/QC software systems.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Physical Requirements

Ability to work on active construction sites and in varying environmental conditions.

Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Availability to travel as required to project sites or vendor locations.
