Job description

Job Summary:

To administrate and maintain calibration system complying to AS9100 and ISO 17025 for equipment, such as torque tools, oscilloscopes, RF antennas, force gages, thread gages among others. Updating calibration system cycle inventory. Enforcing calibration, FOE/FOD, and ESD protocols.Request quotes from main calibration houses. Generating purchasing requisition, non-conforming equipment records in our Quality Applications and ERP System. Performing Quality Assurance related tasks in support of engineering and operations. incoming, in-process and final inspection.Reviewing supporting data, documentation and generating inspection records.Note: All equipment and tools are outsourced for calibration.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Administrate and maintain calibration system for current updates.
  • Create and submit Purchase Requisition (PR) to procurement department for Purchase Order release.
  • Request quotes from calibration houses.
  • Coordinate with operations for onsite calibration for stationary equipment.
  • Other activities related to QA LAB and calibration.
  • Support QA LAB receiving inspection area.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED
  • Typically requires 2+ years' experience in Metrology administration, Mechanical and/or Electronics inspection.
  • Perform ESD verification on ESD monitors and mats.
  • Experience with mechanical inspection tools.
  • Must be detail oriented, have good organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience working in an ISO-9001 and/or AS9100 Quality System environment.
  • Microsoft Office and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of electronics functioning.
  • Mechanical/ Electronics inspection experience.
  • Familiar with ISO 17025, INSI/NCSL Z540.1 or other metrology standards.
  • Experience with a Quality Application such as TIPQA and Oracle.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP System.
